Protecting our customers users privacy is paramount. Privacy protection is extremely important to our company and this Privacy Policy outlines our companys overall Privacy Policy Protocol. Our Privacy Policy applies to Emerald Kite, Coast 2 Coast Vacation Rentals Inc., any subdomains thereof and any other websites where this policy is linked to in the footer or other areas of the site pages. The terms “users” or “you” as used in this Privacy Policy refers to individuals who utilize the Site primarily to view properties to rent for a vacation and or longer term stays, individual property owners, and property managers, property management companys, and realators who advertize and or market their properties for rent and or sale on the Site. Our Privacy Policy also applies to other visitors to our site which may include those seeking employment. We never knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18 years.

When our customers call and or send a property inquiry request from our site they are viewing, seeking or requesting details, requesting pricing and availability or requesting to book a vacation property, searching for a specific vacation property, listing a property or using tools, or services on the Site or generally utilizing the Site, and by doing so users expressly agree to the terms of use of this Privacy Policy as well as our terms and conditions.

In this privacy policy all our partner booking agents, travel agents, travel partners, hotel & resorts, cruise companies, airlines, travel insurance, property managers, property owners, will be reffered to as “affiliates”. When a Coast 2 Coast/Emerald Kite site user decides to reserve or book a vacation rental, a hotel, resort, cruise, car hire, yacht, or purchase trip cancellation insurance the user/customer will need to provide personal information in order to complete that transactional request. In order for us to process a booking we and or our affiliates may requires the following information - full name, home mailing address, credit card billing address, home telephone number, cell phone number, e-mail address, a method of payment, bank account details for wire transfer payments. Ages, health questions and date of birth may be requested in order to obtain travel trip cancellations insurance quotes. Service animals and or pet details including breeds and weight may be requested. In rare circumstances social security numbers and or personal or banking references and or copies of passports may be requested by Home Owner Association (HOA) and we request that this data is provided directly from the booked customer to the HOA. You may also provide personal data when requesting marketing, email updates, registering on the Site, providing testamonials, or when sending in properties to be listed. Property owners and/or managers may be asked for proof of home ownership, property tax records prior to being accepted to advertise on our Site.

Site Usage Data

IP addresses, mobile device identifier information, your location, the time you accessed the Site, property pages you viewed, your search criteria (what you searched for) time on the site, and other details of your activity may be collected while visiting the Site. This data can be collected by you inputting your personal details, by the automatic collection of information about you as you use the Site, via email communications from us and “affiliates” and when we speak to you, members of your travel group or from third parties.
