Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island are serviced by the Island Trolley which start at Coquina Beach on Anna Maria to downtown Sarasota via Longboat Key and St. Armand’s Circle. Daily service runs from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. every 60 minutes. Trolleys offer both indoor and open-air seating. The fare is $.75 (discounted rates available for senior citizens). The trolley does not operate during major holidays including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
