The villa is laid out around a long, airy living and dining room with vaulted ceilings, creamy stone floors and several pairs of French doors opening to the veranda. The living room’s wood-framed sofas have neutral-toned upholstery accented by palm-print pillows, and in the dining room, the same pairing of wood and beige upholstery has traditional Caribbean elegance. The fully equipped kitchen is all modern charm with pale wood cabinets and charcoal gray stone countertops.
Each of the four bedrooms at Villa Equinox has an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. There are two bedrooms with king beds, one of which has access to a private plunge pool, and two bedrooms with two twin beds each. As in the rest of the house, neutral walls and floors and dark wood furniture are set off by brightly colored bedding for a traditionally tropical feel.
It wouldn’t be a vacation on St-Lucia without a day at the beach, so take time to explore the many nearby beaches only a short drive away. Reserve a tee time at Championship Golf Course, a 3.5 km drive from the villa, and discover local fare in the towns of Gros Islet, just over 5.5 km away, and Rodney Bay, 6.5 km away. From Villa Equinox, it’s about a 16 km drive to the island’s George F.L. Charles Airport.
