The eight ensuite bedrooms all come with their own charms, from the balcony and sunken Kohler whirlpool tub of the sumptuous Master Suite to the privacy and delightful garden views of the Coral and Garden suites. All of the suites come complete with wonderful views, writing desks and reading nooks. Of particular note is the Spa Suite with its fabulous wall-mounted water fountains, private balcony and semi-alfresco shower and the Vista View Suite with its impressive, tall glass walls offering a full view of the bay. Finally, the Presidential Suite offers a whole little world of glamour and convenience all of its own: a private landing and hand-carved mahogany staircase, marble flooring, makeup and dressing area, kitchenette, private balcony and even a dining table ready to host a romantic dinner for two. The bathroom boasts a rare onyx counter-top, Kohler fittings and a crystal chandelier to light the breathtaking views.
Back in the main part of the house, the Grand Room offers a glorious space for everyone to collect and connect. The elegant arches set the tone of grandeur and finesse the whole home evokes and the hand-blown glass sculpture by Robert Kusker will take your breath away. A widescreen TV is encased in a locally-made wall unit and the stunning photography of Steve Simonsen, which adorns the walls, add further artistic flair and beauty to the space.
Outside, the Italian-esque stone pool deck, with delightful period balustrade, invites you to bask in the sun or slide into the crystal waters of the large pool. Beyond lie the orchid, fruit and vegetable gardens which fill the air with heady fragrances and colour. The emerald hills of the island roll out before you and the dazzling bay seems to caress your senses from all angles. Cocooned amidst the rolling hills, Eco Serendib is the escape you’ve always dreamed of.
