This home is perfect for large family gatherings, corporate retreats and most of all, just having a great time. Featuring 5 bedrooms (plus an additional guest area) and 5-plus bathrooms, can sleep 18. Pamper yourself and your family and friends in indoor and outdoor hot tubs, either of two steam showers, a sauna, or fire up the massage chairs in the media room. Socialize around indoor and outdoor bar areas. Enjoy a game of pinball or shuffleboard bowling in the game room. Watch what you want, when you want, on HD TV in one of the four high quality 7.1 surround sound areas. Or, take it outside on 160” projection screen and enjoy your show from around the fire pit or in the hot tub. Or snuggle up to the heated bar area for sports on the 55” HDTV. Strategically placed windows, doors and interior glass make it seem as if you are floating above the wondrous scenes that surround you. Take a moment and count the views from virtually any room. If the views from the inside out are not enough, deck allow you to enjoy these from the great outdoors. Be sure to take in the incredible milky way at night – you’ll figure out what Carl Sagan was talking about! Use the “Spot the Station” app from Nasa and follow the 200-yard wide station cross the sky at 22,000 miles up – with the naked eye! Our large, fully equipped gourmet kitchen has plenty of work space for all the cooks in your group. A large double sink, a separate prep sink, a six burner gas stove and double convection oven are laid out with plenty of space to coordinate a scrumptious feast. Dishwashers in the kitchen, downstairs bar and outside kitchen assure that even the biggest of celebration clean up easily. Even hand-washing dishes is enjoyable as you look out over the towering peak of Mount Crested Butte. Unfortunately, with a counter bar overlooking the action, we haven’t come up with a way to keep that crowd of talkers and gawkers out of the kitchen! There are more seating areas than you can count where you can get away for quiet conversation while the rest of your group socializes; six are spread out over the public areas on the lower three floors alone.The Great Room has 26-foot high wood ceilings, a large elk chandelier, two balconies, floor to ceiling windows and a spectacular river-stone fireplace that rises from the bottom to the top. High quality audio equipment brings you the finest sound. An adjacent glass-walled TV room can be opened for entertaining large groups but also can be closed for 7.1 surround entertainment, without affecting the 270-plus degree views. Large bedrooms give you space to spread out your gear while tongue-in-groove wood ceilings give a warm and cozy feeling. The third-floor master bedroom features a tongue-in-groove cathedral ceiling with casablanca fan, views in four directions, a private sitting area and balcony that can be used for sleeping under the stars in the summer. Wake up watching the moon set over Mount Emmons and, in the fall, the Elk migration. The couch doubles as a queen pull-out for those who want to keep young children close at night. The master bath features a Jacuzzi and large double steam shower. A library and sitting area, two more bedrooms and a second full bath on the third floor overlook the great room and share its great views. The southeast bed room is perfect for parents, with a king bed, desk area (in case you need to get a quick email out) and spectacular views of the ski mountain and across and down valley. Close by next door is a kid’s room with two bunk bed sets (a full and twin on each) plus a queen futon. These share a large full bath with a double sinks and a huge mirror that mimics the shape of Mount Crested Butte. In addition to the large kitchen and open dining area, Great Room and TV Room, the main floor has a laundry room, and what is effectively another master suite with a bathroom and indoor hot tub. The entry-level floor can be used not only for entertainment, but also as a suite for a separate family. It includes a bedroom with a queen bed where you wake up to a view of Mount Crested Butte, a pullout sleeper in the game room and two full baths, the second with a steam and sauna.
