The Layout:
Curl up on one of the many comfortable sofas in the living area and read a good book, browse on your phone for the best activities to try nearby, or simply watch your favorite movie on the large, wall-mounted, flatscreen TV. Cold days and nights won't stand a chance against the fireplace, which will keep everyone warm in the blink of an eye. Floor-to-ceiling windows will let plenty of sunlight in and will let everyone take in the marvelous valley and mountain views. The family chef will have the time of their lives thanks to the fully-equipped kitchen. Emerald green cabinets and stainless steel appliances will make it easy to prepare the most memorable and delicious meals and there is plenty of elbow room to move about freely.
The Bedrooms:
On the first floor, you'll come across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is perfect for kids as it features a small playground area with direct access to the patio and one twin over twin bunk and two twins over double bunk beds. One of the bathrooms is ensuite. The other two bedrooms feature one king-size bed and one double bed respectively. As you climb up the stairs, you'll find four more bedrooms (with three king-size beds and one double bed), four bathrooms (three of them are ensuite), and the main living area. Two of those bedrooms share a corner balcony.

Chamonix resort offers a spectacular ski-in/ski-out location on Assay Hill, near the Elk Camp Gondola and moments away from the slopes of the Aspen Snowmass Ski Resort, one of the most well-known and popular ski resorts in the country. However, you’ll find out soon enough that Snowmass Village also offers a plethora of summer activities for those visiting during the warmer months. Guests can also find plenty of premium on-site amenities for guests to enjoy such as free WiFi, free airport shuttle (summer and winter seasons only), a fitness room, a heated pool, a hot tub, a slope-side ski locker room, complimentary underground parking, among others.
Winter Activities:
Winter enthusiasts already know what they want and that is shredding powder at any (if not all) of the beautiful mountains here: Buttermilk, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlights, and Snowmass (the biggest one). Visitors can take lessons, guided cross-country ski tours, and traverse the jaw-dropping slopes on skis or snowboards. Another popular activity, especially for kids, is exploring the Rocky Mountains through dogsled rides led by a team of Alaskan huskies.
Summer Activities:
Hiking trails abound here and the longest and most visited one is the Government Trail, a 13.8-mile trail that will take hikers and mountain bikers from Snowmass to Aspen through a scenic and mind-blowing trip. If you’re up for a challenge the East Snowmass Trail with seven and a half miles of road and 12,014 feet of elevation will be ideal for you. Explore Snowmass and the Rocky Mountains from another point of view at Above It All Balloon Company, which features hot air balloon tours for the entire family!
