The large, open floor plan is spacious and there is plenty of room for hosting a large crowd, dancing ‘til dawn and just having a good time. Perfect for that reunion with your old high school or college friends, or your extended family. It can sleep 16, has 5 bedrooms and 3 and 1/2 baths, and – we can’t stress this enough – tons of open space for entertaining.
The large backyard has a lighted full-sized volleyball court and hot tub. The covered cabana provides shaded comfy seating for watching the action. Extending along the back of the house, the patio has an exterior cooking area complete with grill and raised bar for more seating. An umbrella lends some shade to the dining table which can seat eight comfortably. A wide swath of bright green grass divides the volleyball area from the patio, and a high solid privacy fence encloses the entire yard. And of course, we can’t forget the unique exterior shower with its tall, rustic stone gabion walls.
Step back inside, and with two large flat screen TVs, a full-sized pool table and shuffleboard table, you won’t want to leave the great room. The multi-level, wide wood planked ceiling adds a rustic feel to the space, as does the exposed brick accent wall. The wall of full height windows and double glass patio doors looking out to the backyard provide plenty of light to the room. With comfy seating for 16, this is the perfect place for winding down after a tough day of hiking, shopping or a night out on the town. And the two rolling bar counters can be wheeled outside for some alfresco snacking and drinking.
The fully equipped kitchen, conveniently adjacent to the great room, has everything you will need to fix great meals for all your guests – double wall ovens, smooth glass surface cook top, microwave, oversized farm sink and classic French door style refrigerator/freezer with convenient water and ice dispenser. A Keurig is waiting to serve your morning coffee and there is a dishwasher for easy cleanup. The raised bar separating the kitchen and dining room provides additional seating, while the dining room seats eight comfortably in black leather studded chairs around the rustic style table. The double, modern French doors and adjacent wide window open to the patio right next to the grill and outdoor cooking area.
The main bedroom has a soft gray palette, and clerestory for plenty of light. Behind the country style barn door is a generously sized bathroom. Two separate sink areas with modern vessel sinks provide plenty of space for two (or more!). The walk-in shower has a handshower and recessed rain head and the accent stacked stone and pebble style floor wall provide texture against the smooth ceramic tiled walls throughout the rest of the room. And there’s a sauna!
The gray palette of this Scottsdale vacation rental continues throughout the other bedrooms, and all have a wall-mounted flat screen TV and ceiling fan. One of the five bedroom doubles as the TV room with its 70” flat screen, comfy oversized sectional sofa (with pull-out bed) and two bunk beds. Another bedroom has an exterior door leading out into the gabion walled exterior shower. The second bath is traditionally styled with a generous vanity and shower/tub. And, the third bath has a walk-in shower, and copper faucet and copper vessel sink for some punch.
