This home boasts a bold and artsy personality that brings fun and life to the home. On the main entry level, you’ll be greeted with an open floor plan living and dining area with direct access to a large, shady screened lanai great for entertaining or for curling up with a good book. The full kitchen with laundry facilities is on the opposite end of the main floor which provides access to a deck overlooking the canal, truly a great place to sun and watch your backyard wildlife. Upstairs the spacious master bedroom includes a lofty ceiling, king-sized bed, home office desk area & walk-in closet. The mid-sized guest bedroom overlooks the canal and is fitted with a queen-sized bed and private bathroom. The high-ceilinged smaller bedroom also faces the canal and has two twin beds to easily sleep your family of six. The upstairs area now features brand new flooring and updated bathrooms throughout. This one-of-a-kind beach cottage located at the west end of the island features a newly resurfaced dock and boat launch that provides the perfect springboard for your small craft exploration into Dicken's Bayou. Enjoy a short 12-minute stroll to the shell-strewn beaches at Blind Pass that include the best sunset-watching on the island and is a favored fishing spot. Conveniently there are a few restaurants, a village store, and a marina are all within easy walking distance as well.
