Location Description The village of Positano,is a kilometer walk from this luxury world class villa that has offered a temporary residence to politicians and movie starts. From this majestic residence dine overlooking the sea at some of Italys finest restaurants and the beach can be reached by stairs or a lift through the rocks. (in the village). Positano is world class however during your stay you will want to venture over to romantic Ravello, Sorrento, and Amalfi. You can take a bus, taxi, or ferry to reach the other towns along the coast. Blue SITA buses cost about 1-2 euros,and are a great way to get around. Location. Rome: 300 km/186 mi Naples (Airport): 60 km/37 mi Pompeii: 35 km/22 mi Amalfi: 20 km/12 mi Positano: 1 km/0.62 mi This luxury Positano vacation villa is tucked away behind private walls with a large wooden door opening directly onto one of the many passageways through the village. A historical villa decorated with antique furniture and collectable paintings of museum quality. The villa features a Mediterranean garden full of bougainvillea, lemon and orange trees. The house has several terraces, and the garden has a lovely view of the beach of Positano. There is a private pool area (4.5m x 8.5 m, 1.3m deep) with loungers and beach umbrellas. A porter is available to help with luggage transfer on arrival and departure. Interior Description Ground Floor: There are four large suites with queen size beds (160 cm) each with an en suite bathroom consisting of a shower, sink, and toilet. The suites are decorated with Neapolitan ceramics and ancient 1700 mosaics. Each bedroom has access to the furnished terrace. First Floor: This floor has the main entrance and also leads to the Mediterranean garden full of bougainvillea, lemon, and orange trees, (from which the juice and homemade marmalades that are served for breakfast are made!). There is a big kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, and American coffee maker. A large room can be used as a dining room, a place to relax, or an area for working as there is a computer equipped with Wi-Fi, an ADSL line, fax, mail, and more. There is also a big library full of old and new books and five guest bathrooms with sinks and toilets, only.
