As you sweep through the front gates and up the stone driveway, you’re welcomed by an 18th-century fountain, sculpted hedges and flickering gas lamps. The house opens to a terrace with sitting and dining areas, and chaise longues around a pool and hot tub. A barbecue and sound system make entertaining a snap, while a cabana with built-in seating and a fireplace lets you linger outdoors into the evening. On cooler evenings, move inside to the well-appointed media room. Exquisite details such as limestone and walnut flooring, hand-plastered walls, imported fireplace mantels and custom ceiling moldings present a look and feel of a French chateau. But the furnishings and artwork are sleek and contemporary, creating a glamorous mix of the past and present.
