Each unit is individually owned, which means no unit is alike and provides a unique vacation experience to our guests. Accommodations: 21-unit condominium resort midway on the exclusive island of Longboat Key with a variety of views including Gulf front, Bayfront, pool, and garden views. This unit is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit, completely renovated in August 2016, is located on the bayside, centrally located with garden views of mango trees, Florida palms, and cactus from the privacy of your tropical lanai. Decorated in calming beach decor, it features a bright, fully remodeled kitchen with modern, recycled glass countertops and stainless-steel appliances. The unit offers ceiling fans in all main rooms, wireless Internet access, large flat-screen TVs, and tile floors throughout. Dining: Although there is no on-site restaurant, it is centrally located near nearby hotspots - some within walking distance! Our recommendation is The Blue Dolphin Caf a local favorite that features the flavors of the island and is just a short stroll from your front door. Longboat Key restaurants include Harry's Continental Kitchens, Euphemia Haye Restaurant and The Haye Loft Lounge & Dessert Room, The Dry Dock Waterfront Grill, Mattison's Steakhouse, and MarVista Backside Restaurant and Pub. Attractions: Longboat Key is rich in high-end boutiques and five-star restaurants making it an ideal destination for vacationers who like their beach getaway on the swankier side. As a barrier island to the town known as the area's "cultural capital", an assortment of entertainment options can be found in nearby Sarasota where attractions and activities abound for all age groups. The island of Longboat Key is home to several premiers, and private golf courses, however nearby Sarasota and Bradenton areas offer top-rated golf courses a short drive off the island for golfers of every handicap. The Centre Shops is located just north and includes shopping options of art galleries, restaurants, a dry cleaner, a pharmacy, and a UPS store - all the ingredients for the perfect spot to pick up all your necessary beach essentials and remembrances. If you're looking for higher-end shopping, traveling to Lido Key's St. Armand's Circle is well worth the trip. Rumor has it that circus magnate John Ringling won Lido Key in a poker game that turned the sister island of Longboat Key into a world-famous attraction.
