The retreat is a delightful waterfront villa on the sparkling Discovery Bay. The luxury villa Jamaica has a beautifully landscaped, large lawn and an expansive swimming pool. Right beyond the villa is the amazing 150’ white sand beach with thatched umbrellas. The picnic table and outdoor barbeque is perfect for outdoor meals, whereas the charming seaside gazebo provides the ideal spot for some quiet time or for watching the sun set, while sipping delicious tropical drinks. The villa has 5 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms with telephone and televisions, and en suite bathrooms. Having undergone recent renovations, the villa now has a second floor, while all the interior décor has also been updated. The villa’s renovations have been done very cleverly, thereby not compromising the its signature comfortable ambience. The villa communicates a feeling of informal, at-home and relaxed lifestyle and is wonderful for families with children. The pretty new family room is equipped with satellite television, CD player and sound system. The villa comes with complimentary kayaks, a floating bar and a swim-up deck. Water sports enthusiasts can avail more facilities a few minutes’ drive away from the villa. Only 30 minutes away is Ocho Rios, the lively venue for excellent restaurants, night life, open-air craft markets, shops and clubs. Guests can buy day passes; enjoy several water sports, rafting on the Martha Brae, Prospect Plantation Great House, dramatic Dunn’s River Falls and Dolphin Cove that allows guests to swim with the dolphins with prior reservation. Right next to the villa is a cottage, its sister property. The cottage is a comfortable 3 bedroom villa. The sister villas are perfect Jamaica villas for large groups and offer 8 air-conditioned bedrooms with 8 en suite bathrooms altogether. If the two villas in Jamaica are rented simultaneously, meals can be served in one place. If different groups are residing in each villa, they can dine inside each villa on the open-air patios or on the picnic tables at the beach.
