BEDROOM & BATHROOM Main Level Bedroom 1 - Master: King size bed, Ensuite bathroom with stand-alone shower, Dual Vanity, Gas fireplace, Flat screen television Upper Level Bedroom 2: Queen size bed, Ensuite bathroom with stand-alone shower, Dual Vanity Bedroom 3 - Recommended for kids: 2 Twin over twin bunk beds, Ensuite bathroom with shower/bathtub combo, Dual Vanity Bedroom 4: Queen size bed, 2 Twin beds, Ensuite bathroom with stand-alone shower, Flat screen television Additional Bedding: Queen sofa bed in media room Inside the substantial front door, a sunlit foyer opens to a lovely, warm interior. The living, dining, and kitchen areas are all gathered in one open, ground-floor space at the end of the house, anchored by a wall of cut stone, and a big wood-burning fireplace in the living room. Deep couches and patterned armchairs are gathered around the fire, and above it, a flat-screen TV is mounted on the simple, rustic mantle. Outside, on the stone patio, a large hot tub glories in its thrilling proximity to the ski slopes, and of course, the ski shuttle will get you to those very slopes and back again, whenever you wish. Everywhere, wide windows let in the astounding view. The living room ceiling arches high overhead and then drops down, over the kitchen, to a crosshatch of weathered beams. Here, smooth, speckled stone countertops pick up the dark tones of the wood cabinets. There is a center island with a prep sink, and a great steel range, as well as a wall oven and built-in microwave. Ample refrigeration - including a wine cooler - is available in under-counter drawers and a full, standing fridge. A breakfast bar separates the kitchen from the living and dining areas, and a pantry is just steps away. Nearby waits the family room, with a long sectional couch; a perfect, quiet place for movies, games, reading, or just hanging out. The carpeted master suite is set in a wing of its own, angling off the main house toward the mountains. A windowed hallway leads to the bedroom at the very end of the wing, where a stone, gas fireplace finalizes the space. Here a carved wood, king-size bed, piled with pillows, faces both the fire and a flat-screen TV mounted above the mantelpiece. The master bath is airy and luxurious, paneled in creamy painted wood. There is a big, glass-walled shower, double sinks, a private water closet, and a deep soaking tub. The second floor holds three guest bedrooms and a light-filled landing/office. The office has room for two to spread out and work comfortably side by side. Just off the landing is a bedroom with a handsome queen bed, flanked by pine cone reading lights. This bedroom has roomy closets and a bathroom of its own, with a shower and a private water closet. A short hallway, with windows on both sides, leads from the landing to a second bedroom – a charming hideaway with two double-decker wood bunk beds. Sturdy ladders lead up to the top berths. Each bed is snug and comfy, with a colorful animal pillow for company. A second door leads to the back stair landing, and from there, down to the mudroom and laundry room. Over the garage, across the back landing from the bunk room, is a final, spacious guest bedroom, big enough for a family. Two sweet twin beds with checked pillowcases stand at one end of the room; at the other, a big wood queen size bed with matching checked pillows. A pair of wonderful rollback armchairs wait beside a big window, with a cherry-red ottoman between them. This bedroom has a private bathroom with a shower. Outside is the wide wonderland of this home, and all of Jackson Hole beyond it. From the hot tub, you can see all the way up the ski slopes and over to the village. In the winter the scene sparkles with lights; in warmer months the varied wildlife of Jackson Hole – moose, elk, red foxes, trumpeter swans – pass through the grasslands.
