Situated within walking distance to a skier shuttle and all the amenities in Teton Village, the location can’t be beat.This is a classic ski chalet with older furnishings, which allows us to offer it at a very affordable rate. You won't find better value accommodations for 14 in Teton Village. You will be amazed at how abundant the wildlife is in this neighborhood, and so close. Keep your camera at the ready for moose, elk, deer, or foxes strolling through the property. The split-level entry to the home leads upstairs to the main level of the house, offering a good-sized living room with leather couches, TV/DVD, stereo and a large rock fireplace. Ample views of the Snake River Valley are available from the living room, as well as from the large deck, where you'll find BBQ grill, a picnic table and a hot tub. There is a dining area with seating for eight, as well as seating for four at the breakfast bar that opens to a fully equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms are on the main level, a roomy king master bedroom and a queen bedroom, which share an adjacent full bathroom and sauna. The upper level of the house has a large split bedroom with a queen bed and two twin beds with a small TV. These twins are convertible to a king bed for a fee. There is also a bonus room containing a seating area and a loft that has two twin beds well suited for kids. The low loft has a short vertical ladder for access. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom. The lower level has two bedrooms, a queen and one with two twin beds. Your family and friends will keep busy in the Grand Adventure Park learning the ropes course, bouncing around on the bungee trampoline, and taking a shot at the climbing wall. You can also enjoy hiking the on-site trails spilling over with beautiful wildflowers, testing your mountain biking skills on lift accessed trails of all ability levels, taking a guided tour of the Via Ferrata climbing routes, and trying out the disc golf. Riding the “Big Red” tram to the top of Rendezvous Mountain for 360-degree views of the Tetons and splendor of the valley spread out below you is a must. Pop into Corbet’s Cabin at the top of the tram for their famous homemade waffles. For a change of pace, take a short 15-minute scenic drive past open ranch land with grazing cows and horses into the historic town of Jackson. Snap some photos beneath the famous elk antler arches on the Town Square, stroll along the old-time wooden boardwalks surrounding the Square, and stop into one of the many art galleries featuring Western art and sculptures from world renowned local artists. Taste one (or two!) of the many delicious homemade ice cream flavors at Moo’s Gourmet Ice Cream while you relax on a wooden bench in the park. Explore the shops filled with unique handicrafts, clothing and gifts, many of them made by wonderfully talented local artisans.
