This Mediterranean styled vacation home is located in the exclusive gated residential community known as the Villages of Crystal Beach and hearkens back to a nostalgic charming laid back golden era. This home features four bedrooms with the ability to accommodate 12 fortunate guests. Lush landscaping gives this wonderful world a truly tropical feel. It is centered upon a lavish resort swimming pool that resembles a long lovely lagoon that is adorned with towering palms, waterfalls and has a stone island in its center. Water cascades down over the rocks on all sides of this miniature island and splashes into the pool beside it providing refreshment on hot summer days. Another waterfall anchors the entrance and pours down into the pool at the other end. A simmering hot tub sits beside the pool allowing you to soothe your cares away. There is a large Tiki Bar for poolside entertainment with a surround sound system, multiple countertops, numerous bar seats and couches provided for comfortable lounging. You may enjoy hanging out here with friends or family members while having drinks and listening to tropical tunes in between taking dips in the pool. Stainless steel grills are nearby so you may enjoy dining by the pool after you prepare a fun family feast. The home is diagonal across from this lush oasis and just steps away. If you ever tire of the pool an open-air trolley that can whisk you and your family off to the beautiful beach which is just a few blocks away. This tram operates from 10 am until 5 pm during spring break as well as from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The homes main open living area is on the first floor and has a crisp clean look with serene pastel blue walls, cream-colored furnishings, and light parchment toned tile. A large TV is provided for entertainment and an eclectic mix of white benches with brown ladder backed chairs sit around a rectangular white table for dining. Two bar stools nearby face the open kitchen with a mottled marzipan toned granite top accented with white chunks of marble. Stainless steel appliances give you everything you need to create a meal on those evenings you decide to dine in. The Master Bedroom has a handsome four posted king-sized bed and a private bath en suite. One of the Guest Bedrooms with a charming white cottage furnishings has a queen-sized bed also has a full bath en suite. Another Guest Bedroom also has a queen-sized bed with nautical décor. The other guest quarters includes vibrantly decorated twin beds and a double/twin bunk. Although you may be reluctant to leave this paradise or the beach, you will find yourself conveniently close to popular gulf front restaurants, lively bars, grocery stores, wine outlets, abundant amusements for kids and the Disneyesque retail village known as Destin Commons.
