HOME FEATURES This charming 2 bedroom island cottage offers an open living area floor plan with sliders opening to the private screened pool area and the open deck bayside. The open deck offers outside seating for 6 as well as loungers.The master suite offers a private full bath and the second bedroom offers two twin beds. The living area with a queen sleeper sofa boasts a flat screen smart TV, DVD, and a large dining table. The fully equipped kitchen is convenient for your home cooked meals after a busy day on the water. This Cottage offers two shared docks with water and electric. Enjoy Manatee, Dolphin and Birds dockside as well as spectacular sunrise over Buck Key. Always call prior to arrival if you are bringing a boat to get options for dock and trailer parking. This is an older yet comfortable beach cottage perfect for your island getaway. Don't forget your furry friend, we are pet friendly with a fee. ABOUT CAPITVA ISLAND AND THE AREA Captiva, which is connected to Sanibel by a small bridge called Blind Pass, is 6 miles long; and Pine Island is 17 miles in length. Originally Captiva was part of Sanibel Island but when it was severed in 1926 by a hurricane's storm surge, Blind Pass was created separating the two islands. The Cottage is located on Captiva Drive 1 mile from Blind Pass Beach and 1.8 miles from Andy Rosse Lane. Andy Rosse Lane is located in downtown Captiva and has plenty of restaurants and shops to check out! Enjoy a sunset cocktail while listening to live music at Mucky Duck or explore the famous Bubble Room and taste one of their award winning desserts! If you’re not exploring the island, take your private or rented boat out from the dock and enjoy all the fishing Roosevelt Channel!
