Although you can approach your destination by an easy and straightforward route, you might want to set your GPS to lead you through some of the beautiful back-streets of one of Bradenton's most treasured areas, dotted with lovely homes overlooking the Manatee River. Once you arrive, you'll find your own parking space in the driveway, right by the gate that leads to your personal oasis at the back of the property.
Once you pass through the gate, a well-lit path will lead you along the driveway to the back. On your way, you'll pass the screened pool and patio area the resident owners are happy for you to share. At the end of the drive, you'll be charmed by what awaits! First on tap is a shaded hammock floating over the lawn, with a putting green off to the side. Then you'll see "Kevin's Beach," and you'll feel like you've been transported across to Anna Maria Island! Stepping stones across the beach will take you past horseshoes and corn hole, right to the front door of your tiny cottage.
Once you've settled in, you might want to avail yourself of the pool and spa, screened in for bug-free enjoyment. You're also welcome to use the owners' Big Green Egg, which bills itself as "the most versatile grill in the world," with grilling supplies located underneath.
Please Note: while there are no laundry facilities at this property, Ray's Coin Laundromat is just 4.5 miles away and open 24 hours a day. Option two? Combine a visit to the beach with a quick load of laundry by heading to Seaside Laundromat in Holmes Beach, just 6.7 miles away from home and only a couple of blocks from the beach.
