Puna District - Big Island Vacation Rentals - Privately Owned Professionally Managed®
The Puna District situated on Hawaii’s eastern tip, gracefully extends
from the rolling Pacific Ocean to the 4,000-foot majestic Kilauea
volcano. Visit our nearby exotic black-sandy beaches, magical
rainforests, or our Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We invite you to
experience the full power of Hawaii’s abundant nature while residing in
one of our many world class vacation rental homes and condominiums.
Visitors are surprised that our Island is home to not one, but two of
the world’s climatic zones making for remarkable topographical
experiences. Watch lava meet the sea in Kapaluna, see spectacular molten
magma flowing from our Hawaii Volcanoes National Parks, visit the
extraordinary rainforests of the Hamakua Coast or lay back and relax on
the inky-black sands of Punaluu Beach.
Dining on Hawaii will quite simply awe you. Hawaiian cuisine is an
artful array of delicate influences drawn from our long history of
immigrants from China, Japan, Korea, Portugal and the Philippine
Islands. Needless to say our fresh, locally caught fish is the main
attraction on most restaurant menus.
There are two major airports on the Big Island, Kona International
Airport and Hilo International Airport There are some direct flights
from the mainland, however most visitors arrive via Honolulu or Kahului.
Whenever possible the best option is to try to obtain a direct flight
into Kona International.
